We've used these with some success for years, and if you want a grinder for 'around the house use', this one is just fine.However, buyer beware when purchasing from "CPO Makita", as we bought a Makita grinder from them that arrived DOA (dead on arrival). CPO refused to refund or replace the purchase, and dealing with them has been a bad experience.
