Some people have commented on its lack of air filled tires; I also had the Bosch saw and stand and the Makita's solid tires actually make it easier to move on hard surfaces and through doorways. The Bosch is slightly easier to roll on softer ground and dirt, but honestly, 95% of the time the Makita is better. The other thing I appreciate is that the Makita stand is simple to operate. I don't have to give helpers complicated instructions on how to fold it up, as with the Bosch. With fewer moving parts and mechanisms, this stand is designed to last. And last it has.
