I have always had Makita as my tool of choice. These are by far their best products yet. The battery holds a great charge and when needed, they charge very fast. The trigger on the 1/2" impact took some getting use to. Have had makita tools for over 25 yrs and have loved them the entire time. Needed to up grade and found this kit and jumped on it. The 1/2 inch gun has a funky trigger and a little heavy but besides those 2 things its great lots of power. Battery lasts couple of days of moderate use but thats not a prob just change batteries and keep on going. Came with 2 batteries so i bought 2 more that way i always had a spare. As for the 3/8 gun its great lots of power and the light is great stays on for a few seconds after u pull trigger great when trying to see what u are doing. The drill is cool the light works the same way the gun does and the chuck works great hasent slipped once when i tighten it. the light is very bright and durable the first week i had it i forgot it in chassis of a trk i was wrkin on it fell out when i was on test drive at 40 mph head came off but it snapped right bk together and works fine just alittle scratched up All in all i think if these are the tools u need to do your job then u havent wasted your money u actually are gonna make yourself some everytime u use itSee all 3 customer reviews...
